Member Warnings & Infraction Notices

The US Press Association reserves the right to suspend and revoke membership(s), credentials, ID's as well as discontinuing any associations, advertising (print, web, digital, audio, video etc), member support or any member prividledges implied or not, should any member have been found to have violated USPA Code of Ethics or intentionally misleading or providing false information either in the scope of being a journalist or otherwise.
Members will have their credentials, ID(s), USPA site access, member listing, news post access, blog access or any other site features blocked and suspended while an investigation takes place. There will be NO investigation in the event a member provides any false information via website, email, phone, mail, web forms or any other form of delivery. Membership will immediately be suspended and there will be NO review period.
Members that have been found making threats, insulting comments or remarks or any kind whether they are (verbal, written, letters, email, video, blogs, web postings or any other form of communication written, stated or implied), will also have their membership revoked with NO review period other than a basic review of the statements or comments allegedly made. 
Should an investigation take place, the member will be notified as to the outcome either by phone, mail or email.  Members are expected to act with utmost professionalism at all times, this includes dealing with the (public, other members, this or any other organization), this includes conducting yourself in a professional, non-confrontational, non-abusive mannner while refraining from using abusive or otherwise innappropriate language. A detailed description of the findings will be made available for review and appeal. Any decision to revoke membership must be made within 7 days of final decision.
